I’m really not a fan of Mondays, I bet you aren’t too. Mondays are usually the most busiest day of the week hence the phrase “Manic Monday”. On the other hand, it’s good that we are only obliged to wear business casual on Mondays and just plain casual for the rest of the week.
So here’s what I wore last Monday:
What I’m wearing: Red Button-down (Cotton On), Black Jeans (Terranova), Statement Socks (Iconic Socks), Desert Boots (River Island), and Aviators (Ray Ban)
Desert boots from River Island
Statement Socks from Iconic | Life is too short to wear boring socks. Spice up your outfits by adding more colors through accessories such as these socks!
To feed your curiosity about the person who took my photos for this blog post and for my previous outfit post, here’s a little background about him.
My friend EJ Casio is a 2nd year Bachelor of Fine Arts student at the University of San Carlos. He has been taking photos for three years now. Recently, his skills in photography prompted him to lead the Carolinian Camera Guild, an organization for photography enthusiasts.
He was also a student of Xavier University before he transferred to USC and was even a part of the Ateneo Camera Club. It was also through XU that I knew EJ.
Moreover, because of the hectic schedule at work last Monday, I missed the HyperCebu 2.0‘s press conference. Fortunately they got to send me their PR kit which explains why I have the deets about the said event.
HyperCebu is celebrating their 2nd year which is why the event is called HyperCebu 2.0. This will be a 2-day celebration happening on the 30th and 31st of May 2015 at the City Times Square in Mandaue, Cebu City.
I heard that it’s going to be similar as last year’s HyperCebu where there’s gonna be a lifestyle bazaar and food fest showcasing local brands, rave with the top DJs in Cebu, live performances from local artists and musicians, and a lot of other exciting things!
To know more about the event check out their Facebook Page, here.
Just a few more weeks until my life here in Cebu is over. Looking forward to more adventures before I leave, stay tuned!
