A CdeO based restaurant named MyKarelli’s Grill celebrated its fifth anniversary last 16 October of this year. The theme of their celebration was “fiesta” so they invited several bloggers, photographers, designers and several companies to taste their delectable Filipino-inspired dishes.
Since my latest visit, Cebu is starting to feel like my second home already. There’s just something about it that I love so much and I feel so comfortable whenever I go there. I can’t wait to be back!
My previous blog post focused on what I wore during the first day of the Pop District Bazaar. Meanwhile, this entry is meant to give you guys a glimpse of what occurred during the two-day event (since that was the sole reason I went to Cebu) plus a new cafe I discovered located at Streetscape. Hope you guys enjoy!
As I said in my previous entry, District Events’ goal was indeed achieved of letting the participants discover Cebu through this event with the variety of booths that they had.
Moreover, during the second day of the bazaar which was also my last day in Cebu, my friends and I decided to hangout at Streetscape to visit this newly opened artisan bakery & cafe.
Thank you for tuning in! Stay updated for more upcoming blog posts 🙂

Living in a fast-paced world, people opt for instant outcomes such as instant coffee, fast food and many more. These things make our lives much more convenient however, certain factors may be sacrificed like the taste of the coffee or food.
This blog entry will introduce you to something instant that does not sacrifice quality. Good news for all the sweet tooths out there! Whoppin’ Foods created a product that is convenient to us without ruining its quality and taste-their instant mug cake!
So these were the contents of the package:
Four (4) red packets of cake mix, marshmallows, caramel and chocolates. The extra stuff allow you to customize your own mug cake which is one thing I love about this product. Though I suggest you don’t limit yourself to the stuff inside the package. You can improvise and make use of other goodies to make your mug cake more delicious! Adding ice cream would be a great idea! (The mug is mine though)
The best thing about this mug cake is that it’s really simple to make!
Follow these three steps:
1. Pour the cake mix in a microwavable mug with three (3) tablespoons of water or milk. Mix well.
Tip: Don’t add too little or too much of milk or water because it may affect the texture of the cake.
2. Microwave the mug (uncovered) for one (1) minute.
Yes, just for one minute! Amazing, right?
3. Customize your mug cake while hot!
And poof you have one great-tasting mug cake!
To be honest, I was quite amazed of the outcome of my one-minute baking skills. The mug cake turned out to be just as sweet and moist as I wanted it to be.
I can’t wait to order more Whoppin’ mug cakes for me to enjoy with my friends and family. This would be an enjoyable product for sweet tooths, people who don’t have baking skills and basically for anyone who loves eating.
Lastly, the whole package is only for P150 only!

“From here on, it’s BonChon.”
A little background about this brand, BonChon actually came from South Korea and opened its first ever restaurant in Busan (a famous South Korean city) on 2002 and by 2007, soared its way to USA opening in several states.
By 2010, BonChon decided to open their first branch here in Manila. Not long after, more branches started to hatch around the country specifically in Cebu and Davao. BonChon Philippines finally decided to open its first branch here in our very own city last November 30, 2014 at Centrio Mall.
The founder and owner of this globally adored and sought-for-chicken restaurant is Mr. Jinduk Seh. He spent several years perfecting the three special sauces for the coating of their chicken which are Soy Garlic, Spicy and Honey Citrus.
Speaking of the their chicken flavors, you guys should try out Soy Garlic and Honey Citrus! I’m not really a fan of spicy food, so I didn’t try the Spicy-flavored one yet. Hopefully I’ll have the courage to try it soon though. Haha!
Here are more things they serve:

Seafood Platter (Crispy Shrimp + Calamari + Crispy Fish) – P 399
Banoffee Pie Ko-yo, Blueberry Torte Ko-yo, and Mango Sansrival Ko-yo – P 75 (each)
