Spontaneous. That was the first word that popped into my mind while writing this blog post. I’ve always wanted to go to Bacolod but I never had plans of visiting the place this year. However, that changed after SMART Communications sent me an invite last Wednesday to fly to the City of Smiles on Friday, 21st of October until the 23rd to experience the sought-after Masskara Festival.
Shopping, music, arts & crafts, and an exclusive meet & greet with the country’s top bloggers all under one roof? Seems impossible, right? Well, my friends from District Events made it possible!
Every time I’m in Manila, I usually stay within the metro specifically around Pasay, Makati or Taguig. However, during my previous trip, I stayed in San Juan because my friends Cha Ocampo and Russ Kikuchi offered to house me (temporarily adopt me) for the CloseUp Forever Summer event. And since I was staying over for an extra two days, we semi-planned to go out of town after the event and go beach-ing.
Last month, I along with other bloggers were invited to speak at the University of San Carlos for their first ever Blog Con 2016. Upon hearing the news, the first question that popped in my mind was, “What am I to wear?”. I’ve always wanted to try the double denim trend however I was afraid that I might not be able to pull it off.
