Cake Draft Café

Café hopping is one of the things I like to do when I travel to a different city. I make it an effort to at least visit one or two local cafés before going back home. I don’t know if you share the same sentiments as me but simply being in a café relaxes me plus the smell of coffee and the delicious pastries.

Speaking of cafés, I’m very much excited to hopefully be able to visit this newly opened café – Cake Draft Cafè which is currently the hottest café in Antipolo City.

Road Trippin’ (Video Diary)

Before sembreak, my barkada and I decided to go on a road trip to Del Carmen plainly because school was stressing us out plus we wanted to spent some fun quality time before finals week and sembreak. I was very much thrilled to go because I was longing for an adventure and because I also wanted to try out Del Carmen‘s famous Aqua Park.

The beach resort was located at Barangay Kauswagan, Lagonglong which was approximately an hour and a half away from Cagayan de Oro City which gave us time to listen to music, chat and relax.

What I love the most about road trips is that you can be spontaneous! Since Sugbongcogon was only approximately 20-30 minutes away from Lagonglong, we decided to also visit the Mantianac Zoo before heading home.

Here’s a video diary of our adventure:

If you and your barkada or family still don’t have plans this sembreak, Del Carmen is the place to go! You guys will surely have so much fun!

Also, here’s what I wore during the whole trip:

Processed with VSCOcam with hb2 preset

What I Wore: Denim Button-down (Uniqlo), White V-neck (Cotton On), Black Shorts (Forever 21), Watch (Aldo), Sunnies (@EyeKnowRightSunniesand Sneakers (Havaianas)

Can’t wait to go on more road trips and adventures with my family and friends in the future!

How about you? What do you love about road trips?

Pop District Bazaar (Visual Diary)

Since my latest visit, Cebu is starting to feel like my second home already. There’s just something about it that I love so much and I feel so comfortable whenever I go there. I can’t wait to be back!

My previous blog post focused on what I wore during the first day of the Pop District BazaarMeanwhile, this entry is meant to give you guys a glimpse of what occurred during the two-day event (since that was the sole reason I went to Cebu) plus a new cafe I discovered located at Streetscape. Hope you guys enjoy!

As I said in my previous entry, District Events’ goal was indeed achieved of letting the participants discover Cebu through this event with the variety of booths that they had.

Moreover, during the second day of the bazaar which was also my last day in Cebu, my friends and I decided to hangout at Streetscape to visit this newly opened artisan bakery & cafe.

Thank you for tuning in! Stay updated for more upcoming blog posts 🙂

Noir et Blanc

Hey guys, I’m back!

My blog went on a hiatus for quite some time due to school work especially because I was busy with my thesis proposal. Speaking of school, the first semester of this school year is finally coming to an end which makes me feel both sad and happy. Sad because I’m only going to have one semester left in college and it’s time to say hello to the real world. Happy because I’m going to graduate after four excruciating years plus it’s gonna be sembreak which means I’ll have more time to update my blog.

For months now, I have been waiting for the last week of September to come because by then I can finally go on my much awaited break in Cebu for the Pop District Bazaar. Pop District’s goal of making people “discover Cebu in one big bazaar within 2 days” was very much achieved through the variety of booths they had from food stalls to clothing lines, to paintings, Cebuano artists playing music, and even travel agencies.

One of the highlights of the bazaar was the bloggers meet; when the Manila bloggers arrived inside the place, a lot of people immediately swarmed around them, took photos and asked for their autographs. Haha!

Polaroid photos with my friends and some of the participating bloggers.

Now here’s what I wore during the first day of the Pop District Bazaar:

Sunglasses from EyeKnowRightSunnies | Black Hat from Forever 21

Grid Button-Down from Cotton On | Watch from Aldo Accessories

Camera iPhone Case from Gizmon

What I’m Wearing: Grid Button-Down (Cotton On), Black Jeans (Cotton On), Watch (Aldo Accessories), Black Hat (Forever 21), Leather Boots (River Island), and accesories (SM Accessories)

Super thankful to have been part of this event and I’m really looking forward to the next event District Events will create!

Thank you so much for visiting and stay tuned for my next blog post! 🙂
